Marla Goins (Teaching and Learning), a researcher who studies intersectional educational experiences and practices, recently published an article co-authored with Maria Aline Soares, a teacher-activist based in Brazil. The article is titled, "'A Window Can Also Be a Mirror': Cultivating Two-Way Mirrors for Solidarity." It is published in Bookbird: A Journal of International Children's Literature. This article uses co-autoethnography to advocate for literature that simultaneously mirrors children's lives and gives them a window into a new world.
